This course will examine a nearly forgotten concept in Theology and the ecclesiastical world; How to read the bible. As we discover by keeping company with Mark M. Yarbrough he will teach us not just how to read our bible, but to read them like a seminary professor. This will be our goal for this semester.
The course is designed to help the student unlock the divine-human intention locked in the biblical text. The student will learn a step-by-step procedure for studying the New Testament text to discover what the text meant to the original senders and receivers. Then the student will apply this knowledge to developing Bible Studies or sermons.
